Now and again you'll hear people say: "that child was born with a hammer in his hands." I'm just one of those kids who grew up tinkering with things for work and for play, who probably shouldn't have been given power tools for his 6th birthday, who spent too much time (or not enough in her opinion) with his mother ogling over the latest interior design show. Needless to say, I happen to spend the majority of my waking hours building things, and I'd like to think I'd still choose it that way even if I hadn't simply grown up as a contractor's son who wanted to be just like his daddy.
